The Wheely Good score

Way more useful than “there’s a ramp.”

We show up and run the entire visit in Mike’s power chair. Then we score the five details that can make or break a day out.

Wheely Good pro-tip

Don’t end up on the wrong side of this massive stadium! If you get turned around in the parking lot, the parking dividers thankfully do have gaps large enough for a wheelchair to squeeze through, but to save time and avoid hassle, simply exit using the exact same route you took to get in.

Meet Cielo + Mike

We kept going out. Then we took notes.

After Mike’s spinal cord injury, we quickly learned that a venue’s “accessible” label rarely told the whole story. It didn’t tell us if we could actually park, navigate the room, use the restroom, or truly enjoy our night out.

So we started doing the fieldwork ourselves. Today, our mission is to normalize accessibility by connecting wheelchair users with the absolute best events, mixers, and entertainment Los Angeles has to offer. We are here to help the disability community confidently say “yes” to more outings, while showing local businesses the undeniable value of inclusive spaces.

“Life after injury is vivacious, fulfilling, waiting to be lived.”

Our access standards

We do the legwork for you.

You deserve to know whether the whole experience works, not just the front door.

  1. 01
    Parking

ADA spaces, proximity and the real route to the entrance.

  2. 02
    Entrance + maneuverability

Step-free access, ramp grades, elevators and turning room.

  3. 03
    Customer service

How staff handle access questions and on-the-night curveballs.

  4. 04
    Restrooms

Accessible stalls, grab bars and a route you can actually use.

  5. 05
    Dining

Table clearance, counter height, and unique restaurant setups.

For venues + brands

Access isn’t a favor.
It’s good business.

A wheelchair user rarely visits alone. Create a truly accessible space, and you’ll win over the entire party, sparking the kind of positive word of mouth that keeps people coming back.

Local

Skip the tourist slumps. Tap into a vibrant, underserved community of LA wheelchair users eager to get out and fiercely support the businesses that welcome them.

Regulars

Because reliable spaces are rare, venues that get it right don’t just get a single visit, they earn lifelong regulars.
