Cielo started traveling solo more than twenty years ago and never really stopped. New cities, new food, and new friends kept pulling her out the door, and she picked up a UCLA degree somewhere in between.
These days the trips are a team effort. Mike is her partner, soon to be a UCLA grad himself, and his power wheelchair rolls along on everything from stadium nights to brunch runs.
Mike lives with a T10 complete spinal cord injury. It changed how we get around, how we plan, and how the world treats us, and the adjustment took years.
Resources for wheelchair accessible adventures were scarce, and reviews kept stopping at ‘there is a ramp,’ with no word on parking, restrooms, or whether the night was worth leaving the house.
So instead of hitting the brakes, we hit play. We kept going out, started taking notes, and turned the whole experiment into this blog.
This site is where the notes go public. We roll through events, venues, and restaurants across Los Angeles, then rate what actually decides your day: parking, entrances, customer service, restrooms, and dining.
The reviews come from real outings, like the Savannah Bananas at Angel Stadium and a fried French toast find in Belmont Shore. If it is on this site, we went there on wheels.
You get the details before you commit, so you save more, travel smarter, and focus on the fun.

Every review starts with us showing up. We roll the route, test the restroom, and take notes, so a write-up here means we did it in person.
One wheelchair user at your venue often means two to five more patrons right behind them. We want LA businesses to see the value of the disability community up close.
A spinal cord injury rewrites a lot of plans. We are out here to show new wheelchair users that life after injury is full, fun, and waiting to be lived.
