We got tickets to the Savannah Bananas by chance, and we had no idea we were in for the wackiest baseball show around. Think choreographed dances, players on stilts, and rules built for speed.
The Bananas are the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball. We caught them at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, about an hour from LA and close to Disneyland, which puts the whole night in easy day-trip range.
A show is only as good as the building it plays in, so we ran Angel Stadium through our five access checks: parking, entrance and maneuverability, customer service, restrooms, and dining. The full score card is at the top of this page.
The verdict
Beyond recommended. The show is a riot, the building held up on wheels, and the whole night went straight onto our list of wheelchair accessible day trips from LA.
The scoring system behind that score card is on the reviews page, and the free LA guide gets you the next score card by email first.
